This child group collects Airlines members headquartered in Africa and the Middle East, including the Gulf long-haul carriers (Emirates, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, Saudia, Gulf Air, flydubai, Air Arabia), North Africa's flag carriers (EgyptAir, Royal Air Maroc, Tunisair, Air Algerie), East and Southern Africa's national airlines (Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways, South African Airways, RwandAir, Air Tanzania), and the smaller West and Central African flag carriers, many of them recently founded or relaunched state carriers.
