Air Sénégal is the flag carrier of Senegal, headquartered at Blaise Diagne International Airport in Diass, near Dakar. It was created in 2016 to replace the bankrupt Senegal Airlines and began operations on 14 May 2018, and is majority state owned through Senegal's investment arm. The airline operates domestic and international flights across West Africa and to Europe, with an aim of becoming a leading West African carrier.
