Arik Air is a Nigerian airline headquartered in Ikeja, Lagos, operating primarily from two hubs, Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja. It provides domestic and regional services across Africa with a current fleet of ten aircraft. Founded in 2002 and launched in 2006, the airline was taken over by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria in 2017 after running into financial difficulties.
