Air Zimbabwe

Air Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd is the flag carrier airline of Zimbabwe, headquartered on the grounds of Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport in Harare. It was established as Air Rhodesia Corporation on September 1, 1967, and took its current name and role with Zimbabwean independence, commencing operations under that name on April 2, 1980; wholly government owned, it built an extensive network across southern Africa and Asia and to London before financial difficulties began repeatedly disrupting service in the early 2000s.
