Air Tanzania

Air Tanzania Company Limited is the flag carrier of Tanzania, with its hub at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam. It was established as Air Tanzania Corporation in 1977, following the dissolution of East African Airways, and began operations on June 1 that year; the Tanzanian government has owned the carrier for most of its history, apart from a partial partnership with South African Airways between 2002 and 2006.
