Oil and Gas Exploration and Production

This group collects Energy sector members whose core business is upstream: finding, developing and producing crude oil and natural gas, without a substantial refining or marketing business of their own. It gathers the independent American shale and conventional producers, Canadian and international independent producers, and several producers focused specifically on natural gas rather than oil. This group is kept apart from Integrated Oil and Gas, reserved for a company whose business also spans refining and marketing, and from Oil and Gas Equipment and Services, reserved for companies that supply equipment or services to producers rather than producing oil and gas themselves.
