Canadian Natural Resources Limited

Canadian Natural Resources Limited, often known by its ticker CNQ or as CNRL, is a Canadian oil and gas exploration, development and production company headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. It was incorporated in 1973 and grew into one of the largest independent crude oil and natural gas producers in Canada, with substantial oil sands mining and in-situ operations in northern Alberta alongside conventional oil and gas and offshore assets. The company holds large land positions across Western Canada and has pursued a strategy of long-life, low-decline asset development, particularly in its oil sands mining projects. Canadian Natural Resources ranks among the largest companies on the Toronto Stock Exchange by market capitalization.
