Antero Resources Corporation

Antero Resources Corporation is an American natural gas and natural gas liquids producer headquartered in Denver, Colorado, one of the largest producers in the Appalachian Basin. The company traces to 2002, when its founders began acquiring Appalachian natural gas acreage, and it grew over the following two decades into a major operator in the Marcellus and Utica shale formations of West Virginia and Ohio. Antero Resources is closely linked to its publicly traded midstream affiliate, Antero Midstream, which gathers, processes and transports the gas and liquids the company produces, and the two companies together form an integrated natural gas production and infrastructure business concentrated in the Appalachian region.
