Makers of packaged and processed food: dairy, meat and poultry processors, bakeries and confectioners, snack and cereal makers, and the large branded packaged-food and grocery-product companies whose portfolios span many of these lines at once. This group is kept apart from Agricultural Products and Services, reserved for companies whose business is growing, processing or trading the raw agricultural commodity itself rather than the finished branded food product.
