Kraft Foods Group

Kraft Foods Group, Inc. was an American food manufacturing company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, created on October 1, 2012, when the original Kraft Foods Inc. split into this grocery focused business and the snacks company Mondelez International. It made beverages, cheese, dairy products, snacks, and convenience foods, and employed about 22,500 people. On July 2, 2015, Kraft Foods Group merged with the H.J. Heinz Company, owned by Berkshire Hathaway and 3G Capital, to form the Kraft Heinz Company, described as the fifth largest food and beverage company in the world.
