Property and Casualty Insurance

This group collects Financials members whose core business is property, casualty, automobile or general insurance, plus a general insurer whose own description names no specific life, health, property or casualty line, placed here as the more common real-world default for an unqualified "insurance company": property and casualty insurers, auto and home insurers, and general and composite insurance companies. It is kept apart from Life and Health Insurance and from Reinsurance, reserved for a company that insures other insurers rather than policyholders directly.
