Sampo Group

Sampo Group is a property and casualty insurance group headquartered in Helsinki with operations in the Nordic countries, the Baltics and the United Kingdom, tracing its origin to the Mutual Insurance Company Sampo founded in Turku in 1909. The group is built around a parent company, Sampo plc, and three customer facing insurance brands, If P&C Insurance, the Danish insurer Topdanmark, and the UK insurer Hastings Insurance. Sampo employs more than 15,000 people and generates roughly 2.4 billion euros in annual operating income.
