Investment Banking and Brokerage

This group collects Financials members whose core business is investment banking, securities brokerage or trading: investment banks that advise on and underwrite securities offerings and mergers, broker-dealers and stockbrokers, and securities trading firms. It is kept apart from Asset Management and Custody Banks, reserved for a company that manages assets on an ongoing basis rather than executing transactions, and from Diversified Banks, reserved for a full-service bank whose business spans well beyond investment banking alone.
