CIMB Group Holdings Berhad is a Malaysian universal bank headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, formally established on December 24, 1956, and restructured into its universal banking model after 2006. It operates as an ASEAN investment bank with about 1,080 branches across the region through subsidiaries including CIMB Investment Bank, CIMB Bank, CIMB Islamic, CIMB Niaga, CIMB Securities International and CIMB Thai, providing consumer banking, investment banking, Islamic banking and asset management. The group employs about 38,000 people across 18 countries and is listed on Bursa Malaysia as a constituent of the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI.
