Daiwa Securities Group

Daiwa Securities Group Inc. is a Japanese investment bank headquartered at GranTokyo in Marunouchi, Tokyo, founded in 1943, and is Japan's second largest securities brokerage after Nomura Securities. Through its Daiwa Securities retail arm it offers investment and online trading services for individual investors, while its international arm, Daiwa Capital Markets, provides mergers and acquisitions advisory, sales, and trading services across Asia, Europe, and North America, alongside group companies handling asset management, research, and private equity fund services. The group employed about 14,889 people as of March 2022 and reported total assets of 196.7 billion dollars in 2015.
