Health Care Providers and Services

This group collects Health Care sector members that deliver health care directly or distribute pharmaceutical and medical products, rather than manufacturing a drug or device of their own: hospital and health system operators, dialysis and outpatient care providers, pharmaceutical and medical product wholesalers and distributors, retail and historic pharmacies, clinical diagnostic laboratory networks, hearing-aid retail chains, and integrated regional healthcare groups spanning hospitals and clinics. This group is kept apart from Managed Health Care, reserved for health insurers and managed care organizations that pay for and administer care rather than deliver or distribute it directly.
