The Tennessee Brewing Company was a Memphis, Tennessee brewer originally organized in 1877 as the Memphis Brewing Company and purchased and renamed in 1885. Its brewery building stood at the intersection of Butler and Tennessee streets above the Mississippi River bluff and served as a leading early Memphis brewery. The company closed in 1954; the building sat largely unused for decades before being purchased in 2014 by 495 Tennessee LLC and converted into apartments.
