The beer producers gathered under the Consumer Staples sector of this atlas, spanning multinational brewing groups, national and regional breweries, and small independent and craft brewers, in whatever country or language their own name presents them. This group also gathers cider makers, whose production process and place in the GICS Beverages classification sit alongside beer rather than in wine and spirits. It is by far the largest group under this subcategory: roughly three in four of this subcategory's companies are brewers, a genuine skew in what this atlas has minted here rather than an artifact of the grouping rule, and it remains well over the oversized threshold even after this first pass, so a further split by country or world region is real follow-on work this file does not attempt.
