Companies whose core business is extracting or processing raw industrial materials, including metals mining, steelmaking, diversified mining, and industrial and specialty chemicals. Belongs here: any company whose primary product is a raw or semi-processed material sold as an input to other manufacturers. Does not belong here: hydrocarbon producers, grouped under Energy, or manufacturers whose primary product is a finished good made from these materials rather than the material itself, grouped under Industrials or Consumer Discretionary.
