Belongs here: any company whose primary revenue is producing or selling the energy commodity itself. Does not belong here: companies that distribute electricity or piped gas to end customers under regulated tariffs, grouped under Utilities, or companies that mine coal, metals or industrial minerals rather than hydrocarbons, grouped under Materials.
