Cable and Satellite

This group collects Communication Services members whose core business is television distribution by cable or satellite subscription: cable television operators, direct broadcast satellite and pay-television providers, and companies offering a bundled cable television, internet and telephone service. It is kept apart from Broadcasting, reserved for open, over-the-air transmission, and from Diversified Telecommunication Services, reserved for a company whose core offering is general telecommunications rather than television distribution specifically.
