People whose cited article describes them first as an inventor who also built a business around the invention, such as a safety razor, a telephone exchange, an engine, a calculator or a microprocessor company. A person belongs here when the article names both the invention or engineering work and the company. It excludes founders and executives the article does not call inventors. The group keeps together people whose engineering skill and commercial drive are described in the same article, so a visitor can compare how different inventors turned a working device into a lasting company.
