David Salters

Founder and Executive

David Salters is the president of Honda Racing Corporation USA, the organisation formerly called Honda Performance Development, and is named in that role in a September 2025 news item of the Road Racing Drivers Club. In a tribute to the organisation's founder Robert Clarke, Salters called Clarke a driving force at HPD who was badge number one in 1993 and ultimately served as the third president, and said that Clarke and the other presidents built what is now Honda Racing Corporation USA into a world class racing organization. Salters described Clarke as a predecessor in the post. The page gives no birth year or nationality for Salters, so the entry records only the role held.
