This child group collects Metals and Mining members headquartered in East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia and Australia, including China's large state-linked steel and metals conglomerates (China Baowu, China Minmetals, Zijin Mining), Japan's and South Korea's integrated steelmakers (Nippon Steel, POSCO, JFE Holdings, Hyundai Steel), India's steel and metals groups (Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Vedanta), and Australia's major diversified miners (BHP, Fortescue, South32), the region that supplies both the largest steel-producing economies and several of the world's largest iron ore and rare-earth exporters.
