Lynas Rare Earths

Lynas Rare Earths, Ltd. is an Australian rare earths mining company headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, established in the 1990s. It operates a mining and concentration facility at Mount Weld in Western Australia and the Lynas Advanced Materials Plant in Kuantan, Malaysia, and is a constituent of the S&P/ASX 200 index. Its Malaysian processing plant produces radioactive waste and has drawn opposition from nearby communities.
