Electronic Equipment, Instruments and Components

This group collects Information Technology sector members that make the components, connectors, instruments and manufacturing services that go into other companies' finished electronics rather than a finished device of their own: passive electronic components such as capacitors and ceramic filters, connectors and interconnect systems, display panels, printed circuit boards, battery and electronic materials, test and measurement or factory automation instruments, optical lenses and imaging components, and the contract electronics manufacturing services companies that assemble finished devices on behalf of other brands. A handful of members here, including a seismic sensor maker, a super resolution microscope maker and a hybrid biological sensor company, are smaller specialist instrument makers placed here as the closest fit for a company whose product is a measurement or sensing device rather than a computer, phone or network appliance.
