Samsung SDI

Samsung SDI is a battery and electronic materials manufacturer headquartered in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, established in 1970. The company operates through an Energy Solutions division making rechargeable batteries for IT devices, electric vehicles and energy storage systems, and an Electronic Materials division producing materials for semiconductors and displays. As of the first half of 2022 it held about 5 percent of the global battery market, ranking sixth worldwide according to SNE Research.
