Oregon Eastern Railway

The Oregon Eastern Railway was an American railroad company incorporated on August 21, 1905 and operating from 1906 to 1912 as a predecessor of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company. It acquired or built most of the Natron Cutoff, also known as the Cascade Line, across northern California and southern Oregon, and separately conducted surveys and obtained right of way in eastern Oregon that were later sold to a subsidiary of the Union Pacific Railroad.
