Arizona Eastern Railway

Arizona Eastern Railway is a Class III short-line railroad, reporting mark AZER, that operates 206 miles of track between Clifton and Miami, Arizona, headquartered in Claypool, Arizona. Its lineage traces to the Gila Valley, Globe and Northern Railway, chartered in 1885 and later absorbed into Southern Pacific Railroad, before passing through several successive owners; the railway has operated under its current name since 1988 and has been a subsidiary of Genesee and Wyoming Inc. since September 1, 2011.
