Cleobury Mortimer and Ditton Priors Light Railway

The Cleobury Mortimer and Ditton Priors Light Railway was a pre-grouping railway company that served part of south Shropshire, England. Construction was authorised under the Light Railways Act 1896 by an order granted in 1901, and the line opened for passenger traffic in November 1908, connecting with the Great Western Railway's Tenbury and Bewdley line at Cleobury Mortimer before being absorbed into the Great Western Railway in 1922. Passenger services ended in 1938, after which the line was used by the Royal Navy to serve a Royal Naval Armaments Depot until it finally closed in 1960.
