This child group collects European Railroads members headquartered or based in Russia, spanning present day regional subsidiaries of Russian Railways across the country (Gorky Railway based in Nizhny Novgorod, Sverdlovsk Railway based in Yekaterinburg, the Yamal Railway in the far north, the Petrozavodsk Railway Division in Karelia, the Tomsk Railway in Siberia), the country's principal suburban commuter operator (the Central Suburban Passenger Company, based in Moscow), and a historic nineteenth century company (the Moscow-Kazan Railway).
