Colas Rail

Colas Rail is a railway infrastructure and rail freight company headquartered in Courbevoie, France, and a subsidiary of the French construction and services conglomerate Bouygues, formed in September 2007 from the merger of Seco Rail, AMEC-Spie and the plant division of Carillion. It provides both rail freight operations and rail infrastructure renewal, including track maintenance and construction, and by late 2016 it was among the five largest contractors to Britain's Network Rail with 1,500 UK staff. Originally established as Seco Rail before shifting further into freight operation from 2006, the company has since divested some assets, including the 2021 sale of its Pullman Rail maintenance business to Transport for Wales.
