Chemins de fer de l'Ouest

The Compagnie des chemins de fer de l'Ouest, commonly called the Ouest or L'Ouest, was an early French railway company that operated from 1855 to 1909, headquartered in Paris. It built and ran a rail network across western France, linking Paris with Normandy, Brittany and the Atlantic coast during the formative decades of French railway development, before being absorbed into the state run Chemins de fer de l'Etat in 1909.
