Clipper City Brewing Company is a brewery in the Halethorpe section of Baltimore, Maryland, established by Hugh Sisson in 1995; Sisson had previously operated Maryland's first brewpub, Sisson's. Since a 2010 rebrand, all of its beer is sold under the Heavy Seas name, though the company itself remains Clipper City Brewing Company. Its beers, distributed in about 18 U.S. states, have won medals at the Great American Beer Festival and the World Beer Cup.
