Cerveceria de Baja California

Cerveceria de Baja California is a Mexican brewing company based in Mexicali, founded in December 2002, that operates under the Cucapa brand. It began as a small brewpub producing about 500 hectolitres in its first year before expanding distribution across Baja California and into San Diego, where it found a receptive craft beer market. Grupo Modelo, the Mexican subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev, acquired the Cucapa brand in 2016.
