The New Albanian Brewing Company is a regional craft brewer in New Albany, Indiana, in the Louisville metropolitan area, distributing throughout Indiana and Kentucky and rated as high as sixth among the world's craft breweries by Ratebeer.com. The business began in 1987 as a family owned pizzeria, expanded into a public house in 1992, incorporated as a brewing company in 1994, and began brewing in October 2002, making it the first commercial brewery to operate in New Albany since 1935.
