Lion Brewery, Inc. is a brewing company in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, founded in 1905 as the Luzerne County Brewing Company. It brews beer under its own Lionshead brand and also performs contract brewing for other companies, and it is one of only ten pre-Prohibition United States breweries to have operated continuously since Prohibition's repeal. It was purchased at the end of 2019 by Encore Consumer Capital, a San Francisco-based private equity firm.
