Growers, processors and traders of raw agricultural commodities: grain, produce, cotton, sugar and seed companies, farm-services and agribusiness groups, and the aquaculture and fish-farming companies that GICS gathers into the same industry as land-based agricultural producers. This group is kept apart from Packaged Foods and Meats, reserved for companies that turn agricultural output into a finished packaged or branded food product.
