Wilmar International

Wilmar International Limited is a Singaporean food-processing and agribusiness holding company founded on 1 April 1991 by Kuok Khoon Hong and Martua Sitorus, operating more than 300 subsidiaries and over 500 manufacturing plants across roughly 50 countries including China, Indonesia and India. Its businesses span oil palm cultivation, edible oils refining, oilseed crushing, specialty fats, oleochemicals and biodiesel manufacturing, grains processing and sugar milling and refining, and its shares trade on the Singapore Exchange. Wilmar reported revenue of about 73.4 billion US dollars and roughly 100,000 employees in 2022, and has drawn criticism over environmental, labor and land-rights practices in some of its operations.
