InterContinental Hotels Group PLC, marketed as IHG Hotels & Resorts, is a British multinational hospitality company headquartered in Windsor, Berkshire, England. As of September 2025 it employed about 375,000 people and operated more than 6,800 hotels worldwide under franchise, lease and management agreements; the contemporary group was formally established in 2003 through the separation of Six Continents PLC, though its lineage traces back to a brewery founded by William Bass in 1777. IHG is listed on the London Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.
