This group collects Consumer Discretionary members whose core business is hospitality, food service or leisure: hotel chains, restaurant and fast food chains, casinos, cruise lines, theme parks and amusement attractions, airlines and travel companies, gyms and fitness companies, and thoroughbred horse breeding and racing operations, placed here as the closest GICS fit for a leisure and sporting facility rather than left ungrouped. It is the largest of the eight groups by a wide margin, reflecting the real-world scale and variety of the hospitality and leisure industry, so it carries its own region breakdown below.
