X5 Group, formerly X5 Retail Group, is Russia's largest food retailer, formed in May 2006 through the merger of the Pyaterochka and Perekrestok retail chains and headquartered in Moscow. The company operates convenience stores under the Pyaterochka banner, supermarkets branded Perekrestok, and hypermarkets operating as Karusel, along with the Perekrestok.ru online marketplace and delivery operations.
