Toyota Motor Manufacturing France is the French plant company of Toyota near Valenciennes in Onnaing, founded in 1998 as a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Europe. Construction began in 1999 and production started on 31 January 2001 with the small car Yaris. Production began on 31 January 2001 and the plant has made turbo diesel engines since April 2002. It built its millionth Yaris in December 2006 and its three millionth in 2016, with 3,732 people working on a 233 hectare site.
