Toyota Motor Manufacturing Czech Republic is the Kolin, Czech Republic vehicle maker that was set up in 2002 by Toyota and the PSA Group as a half and half joint venture called Toyota Peugeot Citroen Automobile Czech, or TPCA, with production starting in February 2005. On 1 January 2021 Toyota acquired the remaining 50 percent and adopted the present name. It started as the Toyota Peugeot Citroen Automobile Czech joint venture, founded in March 2002 with production beginning in February 2005. Toyota took full ownership on 1 January 2021 and began Aygo X production in March 2022 at the Kolin factory.
