Tienda Inglesa, whose name means English Store in Spanish, is a Uruguayan retail chain operating hypermarkets, supermarkets and grocery stores from its headquarters in Montevideo. It was founded in 1869 as a textile shop by British immigrant John Henderson together with partners Marcos Pintos, Walter C. Amy and David Robertson in Montevideo's Old City district, and as of December 2024 it operates 19 stores across the departments of Montevideo, Canelones and Maldonado.
