Terafab is a planned semiconductor fabrication plant announced in 2026 as a joint venture among Tesla, SpaceX and Intel. Elon Musk announced the project on March 21, 2026, describing a vertically integrated facility intended to manufacture more than one terawatt of AI computing capacity a year. The plan consolidates chip design, fabrication, memory production, advanced packaging and testing at a single site to produce integrated circuits, memory modules and multi-chip modules.
