SL Green Realty Corp. is an American real estate investment trust headquartered in New York City that invests primarily in office buildings and shopping centers concentrated in Manhattan. It was founded in 1997, building on a predecessor company, S.L. Green Properties, Inc., established in 1980 by Stephen L. Green. SL Green has grown into New York City's largest office landlord, with a portfolio of 39 properties comprising more than 25 million square feet, predominantly in Manhattan.
