SBA Communications Corporation is an American real estate investment trust headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, founded in 1989 by Steven E. Bernstein as a wireless site development consulting business. It grew into one of the largest owners and operators of wireless communications infrastructure, primarily cell towers, leasing space on its structures to wireless carriers across the Americas, Africa and parts of Asia.
