Specialized REITs

This group collects Real Estate sector members organized as real estate investment trusts that own a narrow, specialized category of property outside the traditional office, retail, residential, industrial, health care and hotel categories: data centers and internet colocation facilities, self-storage facilities, wireless communications tower and infrastructure sites, outdoor advertising and billboard structures, timberland, casino and gaming real estate, and temperature-controlled cold storage warehouses. The report's own proposed list names data centers, storage and timber as illustrative examples of this group rather than an exhaustive list, and the tower, advertising, gaming and cold storage members here are placed on that same specialized-niche basis.
