The Royal Brewery of Krusovice is a Czech brewery founded in 1581 in Krusovice. Emperor Rudolf II purchased it in 1583, after which the Imperial Crown of Austria became part of the company's logo; it operated as a state-owned enterprise after 1945 until its privatization in 1993, when it began exporting internationally, and Heineken N.V. acquired the brewery in 2007 and owns it today, producing pale lagers, dark beers and a wheat beer under brands including Krusovice 10, Krusovice 12 and Krusovice Dark, with alcohol contents ranging from 3.8 to 5.6 percent.
